February 5 marks the 40th birthday of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, and Real Madrid, where he played, also sent him happy birthday wishes.
Real Madrid officials said: "Dear Cristiano, on your 40th birthday, Real Madrid sends you its warmest wishes. Every single person at Real Madrid is proud of you, of the legend and the history you represent. I wish you a wonderful day with your family and loved ones."
Ronaldo played for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2018, made 438 appearances for the team, contributed 451 goals, won numerous awards including 4 Champions League titles, and is the club's all-time top scorer.
Furthermore, his home club, Sporting CP, also sent him birthday wishes.
